Webinar 7 :: In Pursuit of Happiness
Mankind is always seeking happiness.
Whether it’s an adult or a child. We want to be happy all the time.
Despite knowing full well that happiness is a state of mind, we look for it in external factors. And feel bad when we don’t find it.
Adults know they need to take care of their emotional and mental health. If they don’t feel okay, they can get help from family, friends and even professionals.
Imagine the several traumatic experiences children go through every day in their life. Pressure from family, comparison with siblings, bullying, teasing, studies, grades, anxiety, lack of attention and there are so many issues that young minds of today go through on a daily basis.
And they don’t even know how to get help. Even worse, they don’t know if and when they need help.
Mental health awareness can go a long way in shaping individuals who can manage their emotions and mental states in a prudent way.
There is a strong need for our children and youth to be educated about mental and emotional health. They need to be taught different ways to manage them.
As October is the Mental Health Awareness month, we thought what better time than now to bring this topic to the forefront through our next webinar from the Education for Life series.
Joing us to explore key areas about mental health awareness in educational institutes, the role of parents and teachers in student mental health, happiness index, dealing with anxiety and much more.
